please feel free to download and disperse in any way any and all tracks that you want

This is Jared from the band Bel Auburn (from mid-Ohio), writing to request that you take a few moments (if you get the time) to check out our new album. The album – our second, and entitled “Lullabies in A & C” – will not be formally released until August 14th (on our own label), but you can download it from our website: www.belauburn.com/music.html.
I won’t bore you with the whole ‘who-we-sound-like’ grandstanding . . . you will surely have your own opinions about that. But, for the sake of context, our influences include Radiohead, Wilco, U2, Clarity-era Jimmy Eat World, and probably a hundred others that I’m leaving out. We’ve been playing together for the last three-point-five years, playing out predominantly in Ohio and writing songs in our basement. Our first album, “Cathedrals”, was released in 2004 to a surprising amount of critical attention, and we think “Lullabies” is a huge step forward from that project.
